Vikotti supplies registered businesses only — retailers, boutiques, and distributors holding a valid VAT number or equivalent local tax registration. Trade accounts are activated after a manual review of the registration submitted via the platform.
All wholesale prices are quoted in EUR, exclusive of VAT and any import duties. Prices visible inside the platform after account approval are net trade prices and apply only while the account is active. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice; existing confirmed orders are not affected.
MOQ is 8 pairs per model (configuration). Sizes within those 8 pairs may be split freely across the size run. There is no minimum order value and no minimum across the catalogue — only the per-model floor. In certain scenarios and categories — typically limited-edition runs, special-material capsules, or designated collections — a collection-level minimum may also apply; where this is the case, it is flagged on the collection page and confirmed on the proforma before deposit.
30% deposit is required to release a confirmed order into production. The remaining 70% balance is due upon production completion and prior to dispatch. Goods are not released to the carrier until cleared funds are received. Payment by SEPA bank transfer; card payment available on request for orders under €5,000.
Standard production lead time is 3–5 weeks from confirmed deposit. Complex customisations, oversized runs, or specific material lots may extend lead time; any extension is communicated in writing before deposit is taken.
Samples are available against full prepayment. The buyer is responsible for sample freight and any applicable import duties. Sample lead time is shorter than production but quoted per request. See the Sample Policy for full detail.
Vikotti is the European importer of record. We handle every step of bringing the goods into the EU — export from the production facility, ocean or air freight, EU customs clearance, and all applicable import duties — and deliver directly to the buyer's nominated warehouse. The price shown on the platform is the price you pay: no additional import fees, customs charges, or surprise landed-cost reconciliations on top. Default Incoterm is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) within the EU; risk transfers to the buyer on delivery at the agreed address. VAT is handled per standard EU rules: buyers registered for VAT in another EU member state are invoiced net (reverse-charge) on submission of a valid VIES-verifiable VAT number; domestic Romanian buyers and EU buyers without a valid VAT number are invoiced at the applicable local rate; sales outside the EU are zero-rated for export and quoted DAP case by case.
Orders may be cancelled without charge before the deposit is processed. After deposit, cancellation is permitted only if production has not commenced, and the deposit is non-refundable. Once production has started, the order is binding on both parties.
Wholesale orders are made-to-order and not eligible for change-of-mind return. Manufacturing defects must be reported within 14 days of receipt with photographs and order reference. Confirmed defects are remade or credited at Vikotti's discretion. Natural variation in leather grain, dye lot, and patina is not a defect.
Designs, technical patterns, and component specifications shown on the platform remain the property of Vikotti and its design partners. Buyers may photograph and merchandise the goods they have purchased; reproduction of designs by third-party manufacturers is prohibited. Pricing, factory identity, and account-level information are confidential.
Neither party is liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to material shortages, freight disruption, customs action, strikes, or natural events. Affected lead times are extended accordingly with written notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Bucharest, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the buyer's jurisdiction where applicable. The platform operates in accordance with EU consumer and commercial law for cross-border B2B trade.
Vikotti may update these wholesale terms from time to time. Confirmed orders are governed by the terms in force at the moment of order confirmation. Material changes are communicated to active accounts by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
