DAP — Delivered at Place
DefaultDefault for all Vikotti orders. Vikotti arranges freight to your warehouse address; all transport, export clearance, and insurance costs are included in your quote. Buyer remains responsible for import duty and local taxes (handled per region — see customs notes below).
FCA — Free Carrier
Available on request. Vikotti handles export clearance and hands goods to your nominated carrier at the factory gate. Onward freight, insurance, and import clearance are arranged by the buyer.
EXW — Ex Works
Available on request for buyers with an established freight forwarder. Goods are made available for collection at the factory; all freight, insurance, export clearance, and import duties are the buyer's responsibility.

Transit times are from dispatch date, not from order placement. Production lead time (3–5 weeks) is additional.
Goods move within the EU single market — no import duties, no customs clearance, no border holdups. VAT is handled per standard EU rules: reverse-charge for VAT-registered buyers in another member state on submission of a valid VIES VAT number; otherwise applied at the standard rate of the destination country.
Post-Brexit, UK import duty applies at the border. Vikotti provides full commercial invoice, packing list, and EUR.1 / origin documentation for HMRC clearance. UK VAT (20%) is payable at import. The shoe HS code attracts a duty rate that varies by construction — we'll confirm the figure on the proforma so there are no surprises.
Vikotti delivers to your address under DAP terms — we handle the freight, you handle the import. Duties, sales tax/VAT, and any local registration are the buyer's responsibility. We supply all standard export documents (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin) and can recommend a licensed broker in major markets.
Vikotti does not produce goods containing restricted materials — no CITES-listed species, no banned chemicals. All leathers are sourced from LWG-certified tanneries, and REACH-compliant. Material declarations and compliance certificates are available on request for buyers who need them for retail registration.
